Lantzville is a coastal community on the east side of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada along the western shore of Strait of Georgia and immediately north of the City of Nanaimo, British Columbia. Lantzville was originally a mining town and is named after its American founder, Arthur Lantz. There is a public elementary school, Seaview Elementary, and two Anglican churches. Also, there is an Indian Reserve, on the north side of the village. Amenities in the village include a jeweller, a book publisher, a travel agency, a dentist, doctor's offices, pharmacy, corner store, etc. Lantzville is also known for the Lantzville Pub.
